HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE STEJSKAL? ☺
We’ve heard lots of attempts at pronouncing Phil’s Austrian name, which is pretty unusual in Australia! The correct pronunciation is “Stay-skel” but Phil will respond to “Sty-skel”, “Stesh-skel” and “Stedge-skel”. However you pronounce it, don’t let this unusual name stop you from calling us for help with your spatial problems and concerns. We’re very friendly and we’d love to hear from you. OUR STUDIO
Our office is located within the Princess Chambers building on Market Street in the centre of Fremantle. The building is owned by the Kakulas family, with the iconic Kakulas Sister store a long-time Fremantle mainstay. Completed in 1899, the buildings operated most notably as Princess Theatre, which closed its doors in 1969. Since then they have housed a mixture of retail and professional offices — now including ours :)
Having established a strong connection with artist, Ron Nyisztor, at our previous location, we’ve partnered up again in this space. Nyisztor Foyer, a dynamic punctuation along Market Street signalling current offerings at a soon-to-establish contemporary art space on Essex Street, will literally occupy our foyer.
We’re passionate about street activation, and our display of models along with Ron’s curation of diverse art hopes to bring something to the local community and visitors.
